Gregory J. Patterson, 76, passed away with family by his side on May 8, 2023. He was the devoted husband to Joyce (Castle) Patterson for twenty-five years. Greg was born on May 5, 1947, in Torrington, CT, son of the late Burton B. and Barbara J. (Valliere) Patterson.

Gregory served in the USMC during Vietnam, enlisting in 1966 and serving four years. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 4 Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, the RVN Cross of Gallantry, the Good Conduct Medal and Meritorious Unit Commendation. Greg was a member of the VFW Post 1672, American Legion, New Milford Cert, Gaylordsville United Methodist Church and communicant of the Torrington Advent Christian Church. Greg was an automobile mechanic for many years and received his 5-star Chrysler Certification.
